Project Hydrogeologist

BB&E is a prominent civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, dedicated to serving both Federal and Industrial sectors across the nation. We are in search of a Project Geologist, Hydrogeologist, and Environmental Scientist to contribute to our environmental initiatives.

• Conduct fieldwork to collect soil, sediment, and groundwater samples
• Oversee the installation of soil borings, monitoring wells, and utilize direct push technology
• Analyze geologic data and compile comprehensive reports
• Manage project timelines, plans, and financials
• Engage in fieldwork requiring travel up to 50% of the time
• Develop scopes, plans, and directives for project teams
• Review and oversee project data management
• Assist in the planning and execution of remediation projects

• Proven experience in supervising boring installations and collecting soil and water samples
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Suite and Adobe applications
• Experience in industrial remediation is advantageous
• Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA regulations
• Strong technical writing capabilities

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline is required
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the environmental field
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is necessary

• Must pass drug testing
• Able to perform light lifting up to 50 lbs
• Capable of working in outdoor settings and varied terrains
• Willingness to work in environments with potential hazards and contaminants
