We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing visible, proactive patrol and emergency response duties in assigned locations. You will provide customer service, physical security checks, and investigate suspicious or unsafe circumstances.
Main Responsibilities- Provide Security Operations: Provide security field operations in a proactive, effective manner with an emphasis on customer service. Maintain engagement on security priorities at all times.
- Respond to Security Incidents: Provide effective responses to security-related activities, incidents, inquiries, suspicious circumstances, and emergencies.
- Coordinate with Security Leadership: Coordinate with Security Leadership on expectations, priorities, and implement solutions as needed.
- Ensure Security Assignments: Ensure all security assignments are executed at all times.
- Communicate Effectively: Coordinate and communicate effectively with the GSOC, Security Leadership, security peers, and other internal and external partners.
- Document Incidents: Create professional, well-written incident reports for all security incidents.
- Education: High School Diploma, with some college credits, (preferably associate degree), or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in security, customer service, or a closely related role.
- Licenses and Certifications: Must have active unarmed or armed guard license in WA state.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record. You will be driving a vehicle.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer and systems skills, including office software, access management, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident reporting systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced organization, coordinating and managing multiple tasks.
- Compliance: Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance of standards and training.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing for communication effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6pm to 6am. Overnight.
- Job Environment: Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
- Physical Demands: Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
- Availability: Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays, and overtime as directed (overtime occurs).
- Shifts and Holidays: Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.
