About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Home Health team at Arvalo Inc. As a Home Health Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients and making a meaningful impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy recommendations for clients with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LVNs, DCSs, and QIDPs, to develop and implement personalized plans of care.
  • Assess clients, identify deficits, and establish therapy goals to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and overall quality of life.
  • Develop and implement adaptive equipment recommendations, such as walkers, standing frames, and AFOs, to enhance client mobility and independence.
  • Conduct fall risk assessments and provide strategies to improve home safety and prevent injuries.
  • Educate clients and staff on plan of care, exercises, goals, and self-care techniques to promote optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program with a BA and active PT license in CA.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience, preferably in home long-term care.
  • Ability to pass a Background Check, Physical, and TB Test.
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion.
