Job Overview:
  • Facilitates consistent project execution throughout the complete project lifecycle, which includes: project timelines, release schedules, resource distribution, and management of project risks, scope, timeline, and delivery of value.
  • Organizes Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Demonstrations, Story Refinement, and Release Planning.
  • Monitors and communicates project progress from a timeline, budget, and risk perspective to the project team, stakeholders, and management.
  • Creates an environment where teams can thrive and assists in eliminating barriers.
  • Shields the team from external interruptions and distractions.
  • Fosters a positive relationship between the team and the product owner, as well as with external parties.
  • Tracks and reports team performance metrics and other project indicators.
  • Encourages continuous enhancement and aids teams in boosting productivity.
  • Assists the Product Owner and team with managing the Product backlog.
  • Ensures that teams adhere to fundamental Agile principles.
  • Complies with Crescens project management practices as defined.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Thorough understanding of software development life cycle models along with expert knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients, comprehend their business practices, and manage their expectations.
  • Capability to establish clear performance standards and hold team members accountable while keeping the team engaged and focused.
  • Ability to assist Product Owners in creating and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building.
  • Robust analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze and document business and system processes.
  • Ability to balance competing demands for quality, scope, timeline, and cost.
  • Well-versed in Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.
  • PMP and CSM Certifications are required.
  • SAFe Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with the SAFe framework is a plus.
Required/Desired Skills:
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum/Kanban Agile Methodology and practical experience in this area
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building
