About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tree Care Crew Leader to join our team at Joshua Tree Experts. As a Crew Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of tree care operations on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of tree care professionals in the performance of tree care operations, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
  • Operate and maintain various tree care equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop plans to mitigate potential hazards associated with tree care operations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest tree care techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
  • Strong understanding of tree care operations and safe tree care practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions on the job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (CDL-B is preferred).
  • ISA Certified Arborist is preferred.
