Job Overview

The Property Manager is responsible for the implementation and administration of policies, procedures, and programs that ensure our mixed-use real estate projects are well-managed and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with local ordinances and regulations
  • Meet the needs of tenants and their lease agreements
  • Meet the needs of property owners and the terms of the management agreements
  • Meet the standards established by RMC
  • Reduce operating expenses while maintaining or enhancing the quality of services provided
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Represent RMC professionally and adhere to the terms and conditions of the management agreement
  • Accurately and timely communicate the owner's needs and requirements to the assigned RMC staff
  • Maintain open and regular communication with owners or their representatives
  • Represent and communicate clearly and accurately, in person, over the phone, and in writing, the authority of the property manager based on legal agreements in effect and RMC policies
  • Initiate and execute day-to-day operational procedures, including safety, risk management, efficiency, and RMC quality standards
Property Maintenance
  • Initiate, contract, and administer all necessary services to maintain and enhance the value, operating efficiency, and physical appearance of the property
  • Quality and performance standards for engineering and contractors ensuring compliance with agreements
  • Contracting and monitoring qualified contractors and tradespeople needed for project or tenant construction and remodeling
Tenant and Lease Administration
  • Maintain ongoing tenant contact and relations program to constantly assess needs and help assure problems are being met promptly and to the satisfaction of tenants and owners
  • Respond positively and promptly to tenant requests
  • Resolve problems to the mutual benefit of the tenant and the owner
  • Administer all leases, ensuring compliance with provisions and agreements
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • At least three years of recent property management experience, comparable with the property under consideration
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiencies
  • Angus, IMPAK, Building Engines, and Accounting Software proficiency preferred
