The Opportunity

This position works out of our Westfield, IN location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

As the Sr. Quality Engineer, you'll have the chance to support product development teams, helping to ensure development of highest quality new products as well as providing support to manufacturing teams, helping to ensure delivery of highest quality product to the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and control Manufacturing process defects (scrap, nonconforming material, customer complaints) by participating in efforts/teams focused on identifying the primary root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Develop product quality plans, documents and systems by creating product specifications, quality specifications and quality plans in conjunction with other product development team members.
  • Develop Process Monitoring Systems by identifying critical process steps applying methods to reduce process variation in order to reduce/eliminate the cause of defects.
  • Lead process improvement efforts by identifying methods to capture quality metric data and by performing appropriate analysis methods to enhance sustaining product design and new product development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-5 years of related work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area, or Master's degree with 0-2 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
