Summary:

Join our dedicated team to deliver personalized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of the Nursing Director/Manager.


Responsibilities:
Provide patient care with dignity, excellence, and compassion.
Oversee the comprehensive care of assigned patients.
Respond to physician directives and conduct clinical evaluations.
Document patient progress and prepare detailed shift reports.
Collaborate effectively with Patient Care Technicians and Respiratory Therapists.
Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Patient Care Technicians.
Ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
Engage in quality improvement and educational initiatives.

Requirements:

Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical skills for patient evaluation.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Physical capability for standing, walking, and lifting patients.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Teamwork and technical proficiency.

Experience:
Recent hospital experience is preferred.
Experience with ventilators, wound care, or critical care is advantageous.

Certifications:
Nursing diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
Illinois RN license.
CPR certification; ACLS certification preferred.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Working Conditions:
Work in a patient care environment.

Bonus:
