We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Step Down Unit at AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including developing and updating care plans, and communicating with patients and families.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, including arranging for post-discharge care and services.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN program.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Board of Nursing required.
- Prior ICU/PCU experience strongly preferred.
