Key Responsibilities- Assist the healthcare team in recording and interpreting resident responses to their care plan, maintaining open lines of communication with staff, residents, and families.
- Guide and support allied nursing personnel in providing care to residents, assist with the orientation of new personnel.
- Contribute to the collection of data for the Patient Assessment Instrument (MDS+) and Resident Assessment Protocol Summary, participate in the collection of data for the Patient Review Instrument (PRI).
- Collaborate with Nursing Management to solve problems and improve unit operations.
- Promote safety standards throughout the facility, participate in in-service education programs and attend mandated annual programs.
- Perform duties in an ethical and honest manner, reporting any potentially fraudulent activity to management or the Corporate Compliance Officer.
- High School diploma or General Education diploma (GED)
- Graduate of a Licensed Practical nursing program approved by the Commissioner of Education
