Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Program Manager with strong team leadership and program management skills to join our growing organization.

This position will lead programs from design inception to product launch, driving execution and ensuring program meets on-time, on-spec, on-budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program plans and schedules, leading multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with senior leadership, product marketing, and functional departments.
  • Direct all phases of programs, monitoring activities to ensure compliance with product specifications, performance requirements, schedule, and cost commitments.
  • Act as an advocate for the business and customers, driving a sense of urgency, team and individual accountability, and timely resolution of conflicts and requirement trade-offs.
  • Present program status reports and lead program gate reviews to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance updates.
Requirements
  • 7 years of applicable experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study.
  • A proven track record of more than 4 years Project or Program Management experience with demonstrated ability leading both hardware and software development efforts in support of business and portfolio strategies.
  • Competency in program management strategies and methodologies, project performance evaluation and reporting, change and risk/opportunity management principles.
  • Experience with project financials, developing and following strict budgets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • Self-starter able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and working knowledge of project management and collaboration software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competency in Communications, Issue & Problem Resolution, Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Risk & Opportunity, Continuous Improvement, and Agile.
  • Proficient in applications of principles, concepts, practices, standards, and industry practices as they relate to the hardware, software, and operations development life cycles.
  • Experience in commercial or consumer lighting industry desired.
