About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Prism Developer to join our dynamic Data Analytics team. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining impactful data solutions within Workday Prism Analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Workday Prism data pipelines and reports that provide actionable insights for senior leadership and business users.
  • Build complex data models, schemas, and transformations that ensure data quality, integrity, and performance within Workday Prism.
  • Lead the integration of external data sources with Workday data through Workday Prism to enable comprehensive, cross-functional reporting and analysis.
  • Create and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools such as Report Writer, Composite Reporting, and Prism Analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and key stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions in Workday Prism, and work with Power BI as needed to support broader organizational reporting.
  • Implement and monitor performance optimization techniques, ensuring efficient data processing and seamless reporting across platforms (Workday Prism, Power BI).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Prism and provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Respond to system issues and performance concerns, driving continuous improvement and ensuring minimal downtime.
Requirements
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Workday Prism Analytics and Workday Reporting.
  • Proficiency in designing complex data models, data pipelines, and reports within Workday.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation, SQL, and integrating external data with Workday Prism.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Workday reports and Prism data flows for performance and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to lead projects, work independently or in a team environment, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and mentor junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in leading Workday Prism development initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Finance reporting functions in a senior role.
  • Workday Prism Certification.
  • Experience with Power BI, including tenant administration, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with both Workday and Power BI to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, DAX, and Power Query is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake Gen 2, and Delta Lakehouse.
