About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a member of our cardiac care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering world-class health with human connection.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including monitoring and interpreting ECGs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest cardiac care practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
