Avionics Manager Job Description

Vale Group is seeking an experienced Avionics Manager to oversee avionics maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure efficient operations and compliance.
  • Manage performance evaluations and oversee paperwork accuracy for avionics technicians.
  • Monitor avionics status across all fleets and coordinate necessary work requests.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including ETOPS compliance.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control and Materials to ensure timely parts procurement.
  • Address safety concerns and ensure all employees follow Safety Management System (SMS) protocols.
Requirements:
  • A valid A&P mechanic certificate with applicable ratings.
  • Maintain qualifications for Airworthiness Release and ETOPS.
  • Experience with 747/757/A330 or similar wide-body aircraft preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of avionics supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and inspection techniques.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience is required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks, including drug testing.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Vale Group has partnered with a company based in Orlando, FL, to fill this role. The Avionics Manager will be responsible for overseeing avionics maintenance activities and ensuring company policies and safety protocols are followed. This is an exempt opportunity, not eligible for overtime. The salary for this role is up to $135K annually, based on experience.
