MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Hawaii. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, positioning patients, and assisting radiologists with imaging procedures.
Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patients, and make adjustments as needed
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accordingly
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
- Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records
- Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner
- Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
- Licensure in most states
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
