Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) / ICU - NIGHTS

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville. As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient response to therapy
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations, providing critical care to patients in crisis
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, using electronic medical records

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee
  • 2+ years of experience as an ICU Nurse, with a strong background in critical care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of attention to detail and patient safety
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
