We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our nursing unit.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, and perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Tennessee or compact state RN license in good standing.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required within 90 days.
- 1 year ICU or relevant Critical Care experience required.
