Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide visionary leadership to develop and execute pharmacy programs, policies, and standards.
2. Collaborate with senior management to identify and pursue opportunities for service line expansion and new business initiatives.
3. Ensure that pharmacy services are delivered with the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
4. Champion quality improvement initiatives and medication safety protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
Strategic Management:
Oversee the operational management of pharmacy services, aligning them with the strategic goals of Montefiore. Engage in discussions that promote operational efficiency and financial optimization.
Industry Insight:
Continuously assess external pharmacy trends to identify risks and opportunities, formulating both short-term and long-term strategies to address them.
Collaboration and Integration:
Foster strong partnerships with clinical and business leaders to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services across all care settings.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of senior pharmacy leaders, driving performance and accountability through effective communication and relationship-building.
Qualifications:
1. NYS Pharmacist license required.
2. Doctor of Pharmacy degree is mandatory; an MBA is preferred.
3. A minimum of 10 years of progressive pharmacy management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in financial management, regulatory compliance, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures. Strong communication skills and a commitment to mentorship are essential.
