Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Aide to join our team at Summit LTC. As a key member of our care-giving team, you will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience)

About the Role

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and have excellent communication skills. As a Certified Nursing Aide, you will work closely with nurses and other facility staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfer needs
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
  • Support patients with daily living activities, such as toileting and grooming
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course and maintenance in good standing
  • Possession of a current valid Texas driver's license or regular means of transportation to and from work
  • At least one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a skilled rehabilitation, skilled nursing or Long-Term Care (LTC) environment (preferred)
