About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Optometric Technician to join our team at HOPE Clinic. As an Optometric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring seamless interactions between patients, clinicians, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of duties within the vision clinic, including patient intake and outtake, screening, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and promoting products as services.
  • Provide exceptional patient care to optometry patients, including pretests and dilation.
  • Prepare and assist doctors in facilitating patient care.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) of patient care, condition, progress, concerns, and medical history.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED is required; Associates Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in the optical field and referral/patient navigation is preferred.
  • Bilingual is required.
  • Above-average language skills, public speaking, and writing abilities are essential.
  • Valid Texas Driver's license and good transportation are required.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $14.50-$15.00/hour, based on the job requirements, location, and industry standards.
