Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize Health & Safety by adhering to established policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
  • Prepare for project initiation by organizing resources, scheduling site visits, and procuring necessary supplies, equipment, and personnel.
  • Oversee complex shipping operations related to remediation projects, ensuring efficient transportation and disposal processes.
  • Effectively manage the logistics of railcar tracking for hazardous waste, optimizing capacity to meet customer demands while minimizing costs.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and rail companies, to maintain productive relationships throughout the project.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients and management, ensuring timely and relevant communication.
  • Monitor project performance against timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all operational sites.
  • Assist in project planning and budgeting; may be involved in drafting proposals that outline project scope and financial estimates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing for services rendered to clients.
  • Possess a solid understanding of relevant Federal, State, and local regulations affecting the industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred, with a 4-year degree being advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in waste management or environmental project management is required.

Skills and Competencies:

This role is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and adherence to safety protocols. Proficiency in operating various equipment used in the Rail Division is a plus. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Familiarity with DOT, FRA, OSHA, and EPA regulations is beneficial. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with all stakeholders. Regular and predictable attendance is crucial for this position.

A post-offer drug screening will be mandatory.
