Surgical Technologist Per Diem Position

Huntington Hospital Inc is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care and assist physicians in achieving surgical goals under the supervision of the Department Manager, Clinical Coordinator Charge Nurse.
- Work effectively with multiple team members in high-pressure situations.
- Assist with preparing patients for surgery, maintaining asepsis, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate from an accredited school of operating room technologists preferred.
- Two years of previous experience as a surgical technologist; current BLS card required.
- Current Certification for Surgical Scrub Technologist and Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
Huntington Hospital Inc offers a competitive compensation package, including an anticipated base compensation rate of $43.31 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This position requires flexibility of hours and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
