Surgical Technologist Per Diem Gastrointestinal Service

Huntington Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Gastrointestinal Service team on a per diem basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and assist physicians in achieving surgical goals under the supervision of the Department Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or Charge Nurse.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate from an accredited school of operating room technologists preferred.
- Two years of previous experience as a surgical technologist preferred.
- One year of gastrointestinal experience desired.
- Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Work Environment:
This is a per diem position requiring flexibility of hours and is eligible for overtime pay. The ability to take on-call for patients requiring emergency procedures is also required.
Compensation:
Anticipated base compensation rate is in the range of $37.12 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
