Job Description

Amino Transport is seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building a book of business primarily via phone calls or virtual meetings, with occasional in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain new customer accounts through prospecting via phone or virtual meetings and occasional in-person meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with acquired customers, serving as the point of contact for escalation issues, creating solutions using Amino's resources, increasing gross profit $, and obtaining new lanes/locations.
  • Provide customers with updates on loads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and support customer needs and operations.
  • Prepare and implement SOP/SLA for new and existing customers.
  • Communicate weekly with all acquired accounts.
  • Solicit feedback from the customers regarding performance.
  • Support day-to-day operational escalations.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Department on RFP's.
  • Assign tasks/delegate workload to team.
  • Work with team to solicit feedback from new and existing carriers on rates and available capacity.
  • Utilize Salesforce in accordance with company policy and expectations.
  • Maintain a positive team work environment by fostering positive relationships amongst the team.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 1 year of sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and follow-thru abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving and negotiation aptitude.
  • Strong work ethic with team mentality.
