Key Responsibilities of the Medical Imaging Technologist:

  • Efficiently capture high-quality X-ray images in accordance with established protocols.
  • Utilize internal software systems to accurately document and communicate imaging studies among healthcare providers and radiologists.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) for multiple patients per hour.

Additional Duties Include:
  • Assisting physicians with medical procedures within the scope of practice.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers under physician supervision.
  • Supporting licensed practitioners with CLIA waived tests and EKGs as needed.
  • Managing inventory of materials for imaging and informing relevant staff about supply levels.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and software issues as they arise.
  • Assisting with the onboarding and training of new imaging staff.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program.
  • Proficient in various computer systems.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for patient care in an urgent care setting.
  • Bilingual skills preferred based on location.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive pay starting at $45/hour, along with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new full-time employees.
