PET/CT Imaging Specialist

At New York Imaging, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care through cutting-edge diagnostic imaging technologies. As a PET/CT Technologist, you'll play a vital role in our team's mission to provide precise diagnostic solutions that drive better outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radioactive chemical compounds to patients
Perform imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation
Enhance images and provide data analysis to physicians for diagnostic interpretation
Monitor patients' conditions and reactions during scans, reporting any abnormalities to physicians
Collaborate with radiologists to perform complex PET exams
Gain patients' trust by obtaining relevant history, explaining procedures, and addressing questions
Requirements:
Diploma from a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or equivalent
Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMTCB and/or ARRT-N)
NMTCB(CT) and/or ARRT(CT) certification
NYS License
At least 2 years' experience
