Nuclear Operations Group - Lynchburg Internship

BWXT's Nuclear Operations Group - Lynchburg is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Technical/IT Interns for the Summer 2024 internship program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver technical solutions in a nuclear environment.
  • Create and update drawings and procedures.
  • Participate in design, testing, analysis, project management, and procurement of materials.
  • Collect data, analyze, and design improvements to work environments and procedures (OSH candidates).
  • Provide hardware, software, and other needed IT support (IT candidates).
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program pursuing a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Occupational Safety & Health, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline.
  • US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
