System One is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Outage Recruiter:

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team and take on the challenge of recruiting and staffing qualified candidates for planned and unplanned nuclear outages.

This includes sourcing, screening, and selecting highly skilled professionals for temporary and contract positions in various technical, engineering, and support roles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for the nuclear industry, with a focus on outage projects, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for outage projects. This will involve working closely with hiring managers and project teams to understand specific staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Talent Pipeline Management:

Build and maintain a robust network of qualified candidates for various outage positions, ensuring a quick response to staffing needs.


Candidate Sourcing:

Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, industry events, and professional networks to identify and attract top talent.


Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Partner with hiring managers and project teams to understand specific staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. This will involve working closely with the HR and project management teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires, including scheduling, orientation, and training.

Pre-Employment Process:
Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, and compliance with industry-specific safety standards. This will involve ensuring all recruitment processes comply with relevant industry regulations, labor laws, and safety standards.

Database Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates and hiring activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Compliance and Documentation:

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the nuclear, energy, or industrial sectors. Strong background in recruiting for outage projects, including technical and engineering positions. Familiarity with nuclear industry standards, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.

Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during outage periods. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to the energy sector.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience recruiting for nuclear power plants or energy facilities. Knowledge of technical and engineering roles within the nuclear industry.
