Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in Independence, OR. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students. You will develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address individual student needs and integrate seamlessly with their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address individual student needs and integrate seamlessly with their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and effective communication strategies.
  • Regularly evaluate student progress and adapt therapy plans as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and training to school personnel and families to enhance support for students outside of therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid Oregon SLP license or eligibility.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • Experience in pediatric or school settings is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
