Job Summary

As a key member of our engineering team, you will assist the department head in managing the budget, capital expenditures, and preventative maintenance programs. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety, security, and asset protection will ensure the building and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and evaluating preventative maintenance programs
  • Help establish priorities for total property maintenance needs
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of Engineering
  • Manage the physical plant, including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems
  • Supervise the distribution of repair work orders
  • Assist in maintaining grounds, meeting rooms, ballrooms, public space, restaurants, property vehicles, and recreational facilities as needed
  • Act as a technical liaison for all departments in the property
  • Supervise Engineering in the absence of the Director of Engineering
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or a related major; 2 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
