Job Summary

The Communications Manager is a key member of the school community, responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications initiatives to engage and inform parents, faculty, staff, and alumni. This role will work closely with the communications team to create compelling content that showcases the school's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitch, write, and edit stories about the ECFS community for various channels, including the website, social media, and print publications.
  • Manage editorial strategy and calendar for ECFS's social media channels, including day-to-day social media posts, visual assets, and video content creation.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging content across all channels.
  • Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights for content development.
  • Support the development of marketing and communications initiatives, including campaigns and events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Editorial experience and expertise, with the ability to edit for clarity and style.
  • Expertise in social media management, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive and customer-service-oriented attitude.
