Job Title: Assistant Baseball Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Baseball Coach to join our team at Patrick & Henry Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction to students, leading them into competition in the NJCAA, and promoting academic, personal, and athletic support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students' performance and provide feedback to improve their baseball skills.
  • Recruit and retain student-athletes to field a competitive team.
  • Ensure all baseball equipment is in good working order and maintain athletic facilities.
  • Develop innovative ways to assist beginner or younger students in learning and remembering the rules of the game.
  • Provide a secure and productive learning environment for students.
  • Travel to students' baseball matches, competitions, and tournaments as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Baseball Coach or Instructor.
  • Sound knowledge of various coaching techniques.
  • The ability to motivate students.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • A passion for Baseball.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field.
