Laurelhurst Operations LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Portland, OR.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have experience working with patients to implement established treatment plans, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and maintain accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Documentation: Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
- Certifications and Education: Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum, able to practice unencumbered, and in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
- Skills and Qualities: Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources, full knowledge of resident's rights, professionalism in presentation, ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000 annually, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and tuition assistance.
