Responsibilities:
The Telemetry Registered Nurse is directly accountable for the care provided to assigned patients in the telemetry unit.

He/She communicates effectively with physicians regarding any changes in the patient's clinical status, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.

The nurse must respond promptly and accurately to any changes in the patient's condition or treatment response.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification within 30 days of hire.
  • BCLS certification upon hire and must maintain current status.
  • ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and must maintain current status.
  • Previous experience in an Acute Care hospital setting is preferred.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreements and/or employment status, such as full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $38.57 to $56.64.

The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hiring, considering a variety of factors including skillset, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
