Job Title: Vascular Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Specialist to join our team at StrideCare. As a Vascular Specialist, you will be responsible for examining patients, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications to diagnose and treat health conditions and illnesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients and their medical records to diagnose health conditions and illnesses
  • Order and study diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and ultrasounds, to determine the best course of treatment
  • Prescribe medications and treatments to patients
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed treatments
  • Educate patients and their family members about varicose veins and vascular health management
  • Recommend and refer associated services to improve healing outcomes
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing or Physician Assistant program
  • Current and unrestricted license as a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant in the state of Texas
  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinical, hospital, ER, or other setting
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in vascular surgery, preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities while managing multiple tasks
  • Must be ethical and moral
  • Team spirit with a positive attitude
  • Extensive knowledge of health and patient care regulations
