Job Summary

Sell lift tickets, passes, and retail items, and rental equipment to guests, acting as the first point of contact. Utilize a computerized tracking system for retail equipment rentals and cash handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and effectively use a computerized ticket selling program.
  • Direct guests and employees to desired locations and answer general information questions accurately.
  • Answer telephones and radios, responding to or transferring calls in a timely manner.
  • Set up, stock, clean, and organize retail stores as needed.
  • Maintain a complete knowledge of Skibowl and surrounding areas.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff daily.
Requirements
  • Display a positive attitude and willingness to work.
  • Familiarity with Excel programs and sign making.
  • Retail experience.
  • Prior cash handling experience.
  • Ability to adhere to the appearance code of the department.
  • Ability to work in a small area for long periods of time.
  • Possess or acquire knowledge of basic resort information.
  • Ability to think creatively to answer unforeseen questions and solve problems.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs if needed.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work days, nights, odd/long hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Proficiency with computers and various software programs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and team leadership skills.
  • Resort experience preferred.
  • Team player with flexibility and openness to new ideas and changing priorities.
