Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions, collaborating with cardiologists, and educating patients and their families about cardiovascular health and preventive measures.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other invasive procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist

Nurse Practitioner Requirements

6 months experience in long-term care
DEA License
Nurse Practitioner or PA License
Experience in cardiology
