Medical Education Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Education Leadership Specialist to lead our team in implementing the day-to-day activities of our Residency and Fellowship programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Northwell Health and contribute to the success of our Graduate Medical Education Committee.
Responsibilities- Program Management: Lead team members to implement the day-to-day activities of the health system's residency and fellowship programs, including supervision of assigned staff.
- Accreditation Oversight: Assist the Graduate Medical Education Committee with accreditation oversight, involving analyzing and entering data via the Annual Program Evaluation (APE) process.
- Resident Appointment Process: Guide the initial appointment process for residents to the health system's house staff and national resident match program.
- Immigration Support: Ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and timely submission of immigration papers for international medical graduates.
- Annual Reappointment Process: Collaborate with team leaders to manage the annual reappointment process of the house staff.
- Professional Development: Assess needs and develop professional development training on an ongoing basis for site training program administrators.
- Data Management: Maintain the data system (New Innovations) for resident information.
- Administrative Support: Manage administrative office staff in the absence of leadership.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience and progressive experience where team leadership was demonstrated.
