Auro Hotels is in search of a dedicated Sales Coordinator to collaborate with our three sister hotels in the Orlando airport area: Springhill Suites by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, and Residence Inn by Marriott. Candidates should possess prior sales experience in a comparable hotel market. Key Responsibilities
- Engage in activities related to business development, creating and adhering to a strategic action plan that is updated monthly.
- Identify, pursue, and follow through on business leads to generate new clients.
- Provide potential clients with comprehensive and accurate information about our hotel offerings.
- Assess client needs and address any objections, utilizing persuasive communication to secure sales.
- Negotiate pricing to optimize revenue streams.
- Foster positive relationships with existing clients by anticipating their needs and addressing any issues promptly.
- Implement effective revenue management strategies, including wise negotiation and booking of event spaces, particularly during low occupancy periods.
- Consult with client representatives to organize event details, such as expected attendance, display requirements, and catering schedules.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel’s amenities and services.
- Coordinate with various department heads to ensure all arrangements meet high service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Inspect event spaces and accommodations to ensure they meet the expectations of the client group.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of sales techniques, catering operations, yield management, guest relations, and general hotel operations.
- Exhibit sound judgment in resolving guest and operational challenges.
Qualifications
Education: College degree preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: 3-5 years of hotel sales management or leadership experience with a major hotel chain or management company is required.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential; bilingual abilities (Spanish) are advantageous.
