Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual with a minimum of one year of experience in operating trucks for the transportation of temporary structures, equipment, materials, and hazardous substances. The role involves performing maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles, with a requirement for overtime and travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate trucks for the safe transport of hazardous materials and waste.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification; an 8-hour refresher is preferred.
  • Current DOT Certification is mandatory.
  • A valid CDL Driver's License is required.
  • Familiarity with respiratory protection and chemical hazard protocols is essential.
  • Experience in hazardous waste site clean-up and use of personal protective equipment is necessary.
  • Knowledge of standard safety practices for hazardous materials handling.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

All candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.
