Academic Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician

Job Summary

The University of Missouri School of Medicine and MU Health Care are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonology Physician to join our team. As an Academic Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in the field of pulmonology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU and outpatient settings
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of pulmonology
  • Contribute to research and academic activities in the Division of Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Environmental Medicine
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree
  • Board certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Internal Medicine
  • Unencumbered MO medical license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, and ECMO
