Front Desk Representative

This is a full-time schedule; Monday-Thursday 8am- 5pm and Friday 8am – 2 pm. As a Front Desk Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact between patients and our practice.
The position coordinates and guides patient visits through accurate data input of new referrals and management of incoming phone calls. Key responsibilities include scheduling, managing incoming and outgoing phone calls, gathering patient demographic information, and validating insurance information.
This role requires exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for all patients and staff members. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask effectively, work with minimal supervision, and utilize computer programs efficiently.
Core Responsibilities:
- Receive and document all incoming calls from internal and external lines
- Route calls to appropriate clinical staff and ensure complete documentation in medical records
- Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments as needed
- Maintain high levels of productivity and attention to detail
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent working knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work accurately and efficiently on a computer for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 per year
