Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Housekeeping Activities: Provide clear direction and supervision to housekeeping staff to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained.
  • Interview, Hire, and Train Staff: Interview, hire, train, and recommend performance evaluations for housekeeping staff.
  • Manage Finances and Inventory: Manage the finances of housekeeping operations, including budget and inventory controls.
  • Plan and Conduct Staff Meetings: Plan and conduct staff meetings to communicate important information and provide clear direction.
  • Ensure Compliance with Quality Assurance Standards: Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by the hotel, including continuous visual inspection of guest rooms and public space areas.
Requirements
  • 2+ Years of Housekeeping Management Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience in housekeeping management.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to Lead and Motivate Staff: Must have the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Knowledge of Basic Sanitation Requirements: Must have knowledge of basic sanitation requirements and controls.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills: Must have basic mathematical skills to prepare moderately complex calculations for financial reporting.
