Your Role: Drive Operational Excellence

In this position, you will be responsible for upholding receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring that team members are processing merchandise efficiently. Your efforts will contribute to a seamless customer experience by engaging with shoppers and maintaining an organized backroom.

  • Foster a positive experience for both internal and external customers
  • Uphold a culture of integrity and confidentiality
  • Manage merchandise delivery, prioritizing the flow of goods to the sales floor
  • Guide and train team members on best practices in merchandising and processing
  • Ensure proper tagging, hanging, and securing of merchandise
  • Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to optimize the flow of goods
  • Oversee task completion and prioritize activities as needed
  • Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as necessary
  • Organize back stock for efficient replenishment
  • Maintain merchandising standards and cleanliness in the backroom
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and waste management protocols
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding priorities and progress
  • Encourage recognition and constructive feedback within the team
  • Work with management to identify training needs for team effectiveness
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Support store initiatives aimed at reducing shrinkage
  • Promote a safe working environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Who We Seek: Your Qualifications

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Adaptable to changes in direction or unexpected challenges
  • Team-oriented, collaborating effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Able to lift heavy items with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Experience in training others
  • Minimum of 1 year in retail and 6 months in a leadership role
