Your Role: Drive Operational Excellence

As a Backroom Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining our operational standards and ensuring that our team functions efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
  • Upholding a culture of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Managing merchandise delivery and prioritizing the flow of products to the sales floor.
  • Training and guiding team members on effective merchandising and processing techniques.
  • Ensuring that all merchandise is properly tagged, organized, and secured.
  • Collaborating with the Coordinator on Duty to streamline operations.
  • Monitoring team productivity and providing coaching as needed.
  • Organizing back stock for efficient replenishment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the backroom area.
  • Ensuring compliance with recycling and safety programs.
  • Communicating effectively with management and team members regarding priorities and progress.
  • Encouraging a culture of recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Partnering with management to identify training needs for team members.
  • Adhering to all labor laws and company policies.
  • Promoting our credit and loyalty initiatives.
  • Supporting store shrink reduction efforts.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

What We Seek: Your Qualifications

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Adaptable to changes in direction and unexpected challenges.
  • A collaborative team player who works well with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items with or without accommodation.
  • Experience in training others.
  • Minimum of 1 year in retail and 6 months in a leadership role.
