Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Aptive. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiographic exams to patients at our medical center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of specialized radiographic exams, utilizing advanced imaging equipment and techniques.
  • Conduct procedures including cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, coronary stent placement, and more.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of imaging services.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures for radiation safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
  • Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine maintenance and participating in quality assurance activities.
  • Document procedures accurately in electronic medical records and other relevant systems.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, X-Rays, Fluoroscopy, CT, Echo, Cath Lab, Mammography, PET, and Electroneurodiagnostic (or eligible for certification with completion within six months of hire).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in performing specialized radiographic procedures, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
