About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Sales Representative to join our team at InnovAge. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our programs reach by cultivating community referrals within your territory and providing education on our PACE services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy for assigned territory to exceed monthly enrollment quotas (minimum 6 enrollments/month).
  • Build Strong Relationships: Create strong relationships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, inpatient/outpatient healthcare settings, independent living communities, government entities, faith-based groups, and community resources.
  • Prospect New Account Opportunities: Prospect new account opportunities based on research and receive communication from call center, broker, and/or other Outreach Specialist to handoff complex leads requiring further qualification.
  • Identify and Align Populations: Identify populations of Medicaid, Medicare, Dual Eligible, VA, and Private Pay individuals and strategically align our PACE services within their communities through referral channels.
  • Increase Account Volume: Increase the account volume of referral sources in your assigned territories, as well as referral volume through strategic account management and follow up to meet and exceed assigned minimum performance and activity expectations.
  • Conduct Effective Presentations: Create and conduct effective proposal presentations to referral sources and prospective participants.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow up in the MS Dynamics CRM.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years of proven successful healthcare-focused sales and marketing experience in both B2B and B2C settings, including Medicare Advantage plans, Managed Care Medicaid plans, and Veterans Administration health benefits.
  • Marketing and Sales Plan Development: Demonstrable experience building and executing a marketing/sales plan with a proven track record of creating strong relationships with referral sources.
  • Presentation Skills: Demonstrable experience in creating and conducting effective presentations.
  • CRM Database Management: Skilled in using a CRM database to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
  • Exceeding Sales Goals: Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, human services, or a related field from an accredited college/university or applicable experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Driver's License and Transportation: Requires a state-issued driver's license, personal transportation, good driving record, and auto insurance as required by law.

  • Bilingual: Bi-lingual.
  • Existing Book of Business: Existing book of business/contacts/referrals in post-acute and senior care settings.
  • Mobile Technology: Familiarity and comfort in a mobile technology-driven environment.
