Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing staff, including Registered Nurses and support personnel.
- Ensure adherence to high standards of patient care and operational protocols.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and with patients.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative environment.
- Competent in computer systems for accurate documentation.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Adept at following detailed instructions and protocols.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting is required.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Current BLS and PALS certifications for pediatric care.
- NRP certification for specialized care areas.
- Valid RN License in Texas.
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing.
This is a full-time position within a dedicated pediatric healthcare environment.
