About the Position:
We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Union City, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our EH&S program, implementing and managing safety programs to provide a roadmap to zero injuries and world-class safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
\u2022 Manage EH&S program to ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal EPA regulations, and applicable ISO standards.
\u2022 Drive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) targets related to EH&S for logistics department.
Requirements:
\u2022 Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related discipline.
\u2022 Five (5) or more years of relevant work experience focused on EH&S, preferably in a lean manufacturing or distribution environment.
\u2022 Experience ensuring compliance with Local, Federal, State, and OSHA regulations.
\u2022 Experience with ISO 14001/45001.
\u2022 Strong organizational and time management skills with close attention to detail.
\u2022 Competent in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
