We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to provide mobile armed personal protection and emergency response security services in high-risk areas for the Department of State in Baghdad, Iraq.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced emergency medical care to personnel as required, within the scope of practice and in alignment with the National Emergency Medical Services Scope of Practice.
- Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions, including driving the lead vehicle, principal's vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or acting as a response agent in motorcade or similar operations.
- Maintain assigned protective formation position during principal's walking movements.
- Participate in advance security preparations and staff the security post at the principal's residence or man the command post or other static post as required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver's license and a valid U.S. tourist passport.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable pre-hospital emergency medical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level.
- Must possess current and active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as an AEMT, as well as certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Training, and National Academy Emergency Technicians (NAEMT) 63-hour TCCC Combat Medic/Corpsman (CMC) certification.
